Almond Chicken Salad

Ingredients Add to grocery list

1/3 cup slivered almonds
1 cup finely diced celery
3 1/2 cup diced chicken
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise


Combine lemon juice, mayo, and salt and blend well.  Toss with chicken and celery and almonds.  Serve on bread or crisp lettuce.

i have had this recipe for a few years & its the only chicken salad we make now!we have even made this for our sons graduation open was a huge hit.we love it best with grilled chicken,but any way is great!!!

I'm not much of a cook, but the whole family liked this recipe. Was really easy and really tasty! Switched regular salt with garlic salt.

Love this with a little garlic salt, honey and grapes. Best flavor is with roasted chicken. YUM YUM

Absolutely love this recipe! Started to enjoy cooking again after my husband and I became empty nesters! He loves this lighter meal served with some warm crescent rolls. He requests it be on our regular menu and asked that I bring it to our company party this year. Love to WOW him with great dishes from Mrs. Deen!
